How it Works: Professional Industry Access

At Where Hollywood Hides®, our goal is to help talented screenwriters gain meaningful professional visibility. One of the unique opportunities offered through our contests is the forwarding of selected winning and finalist scripts to established Hollywood literary managers, agents, and producers who trust our reputation for identifying outstanding new voices.

Once a script is selected for forwarding, our team carefully evaluates its marketability within its genre and determines which industry professionals are most likely to respond to its tone, structure, and audience potential.

​For example, we don’t send a comedy screenplay to a manager known primarily for representing thriller writers—or vice versa. Each submission is handled with thoughtful precision and respect for both the writer and the professional receiving it.

Here’s what you can expect from this process:

• Curated Matching: Winning and finalist scripts are assessed individually for genre, tone, and commercial potential before being forwarded to select managers, agents, or producers who specialize in that area.
• Professional Delivery: When a script is delivered to any industry professional, we step aside. We do not follow up, request feedback, or track outcomes.
• Professional Privacy: We do not share contact details or script destinations with contestants, and we cannot respond to questions such as “Where was my script sent?” or “What did they think of it?”
• Independent Industry Process: Once a manager receives a script, all communication, decisions, and potential interest are handled entirely at their discretion.

Every literary manager works differently and responds to material differently. What excites one may not resonate with another. Timing, client rosters, and market focus all play a part in how and when a script might spark interest.
